Requests that background synchronization stop and waits for the thread to finish.

public void Stop()

Remarks

An in-progress synchronization is allowed to finish. Does nothing if background synchronization has not been started or is already stopped. Call from outside the background synchronization thread; calling from one of its event handlers would wait for that same thread.
